Developer Agreement
This agreement applies to anyone who submits a game to ZIPCADE via the developer portal. By submitting, you accept these terms.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter contracts. If you submit on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
Your content
You retain full ownership of your game. By submitting to ZIPCADE you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your game to ZIPCADE subscribers for the duration of its listing.
You are responsible for ensuring your game does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, does not contain illegal content, and is rated appropriately for a general audience unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Content standards
We do not accept games that:
- Contain explicit adult content, graphic violence, or hate speech
- Include malicious code, trackers, or deceptive behaviour
- Violate any applicable law
- Infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or patent
We review all submissions before listing and may decline or remove any game at our discretion.
Revenue share
ZIPCADE distributes a portion of net subscription revenue to developers based on subscriber playtime. The payout pool and share percentage are set by ZIPCADE and may change with 30 days' notice. Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect and are subject to Stripe's terms and applicable tax obligations.
During the beta period no payouts are made. Playtime is tracked and banked — the accrued pool will be paid out when billing activates, subject to a minimum threshold.
Removal
Either party may end the listing at any time. You may request removal by contacting us; we will delist within 14 days. We may remove a game immediately if it violates content standards, infringes IP rights, or poses a security risk.
DMCA
If you believe content on ZIPCADE infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to dmca@my.zip including: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material and its location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your signature.
Warranty and indemnity
You warrant that you have the right to submit your game and that it complies with these terms. You agree to indemnify ZIPCADE against any claims arising from your game or a breach of this agreement.
