Privacy Policy
What we collect
Account data. When you sign in, Firebase Authentication stores your email address and assigns you a unique user ID. We never see or store your password — Google handles authentication.
Game activity. We record which games you follow and how long you play each session. This data is stored in our database and is used to power your Following feed and the developer payout system.
Submitted content. If you submit a game through the developer portal, we store the title, description, URLs, and contact information you provide.
Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics. You can decline analytics via the cookie banner and change your choice at any time by clearing cookies and revisiting the site.
Cookies. We set one session cookie (Firebase Auth) required for sign-in, and GA4 measurement cookies only if you accept analytics.
How we use it
- To provide your account, game library, and Following feed
- To calculate playtime-based payouts to developers
- To send transactional emails (receipt, account notices) — no marketing emails without separate consent
- To understand aggregate traffic and improve the product
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use the following sub-processors:
- Google / Firebase — authentication and analytics
- Neon — database hosting (US region)
- Google Cloud Run — application hosting (US region)
Retention
Account and activity data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing us — we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. Contact us at hello@my.zip.
Changes
We will post changes to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
